Revealing the weight of “monster” Martin Bakole when replacing Daniel Dubois to fight Joseph Parker

A few hours ago, the weigh-in took place for “Congolese monster” Martin Bakole, the boxer who is preparing to enter a quality heavyweight match with Joseph Parker at the famous boxing event The Last Crescendo, which will take place early tomorrow morning, Sunday, February 23, Vietnam time.

Martin Bakole took an urgent 11-hour flight from his home country in Africa to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and quickly entered a secret weigh-in session whose details were not disclosed. This urgency comes from the reason that the heavyweight champion holding the IBF belt Daniel Dubois suddenly “fell ill”, forcing him to withdraw less than 48 hours before the scheduled match with Joseph Parker.
That is why Bakole was chosen as a replacement. And the 31-year-old Congolese boxer with an impressive record of winning 21/22 matches (16 knock-out wins) is truly a “giant monster” who is considered capable of replacing Dubois.
It is known that after arriving in Riyadh at 1am this morning, Bakole was invited by the media to weigh in and everyone was stunned when this boxer weighed in at… 142.88 kg. At that time, Bakole was only wearing a thin T-shirt, tight jeans, a hat and soft shoes.

With the above weight parameters, experts predict that Bakole will reach approximately 140 kg when the organizers officially weigh him. It should be remembered that the 2.06m tall giant boxer Tyson Fury only weighed around 120-128 kg when entering the ring. With a height of 1.98m and a weight of 1.4 quintals, Bakole is clearly no different from a “black rock” challenging all opponents.

A day earlier, former WBO heavyweight champion, 33-year-old New Zealand boxer Joseph Parker was weighed in with the boxers of the event.

Although Parker reached the heaviest body weight in his professional boxing career, 121.1 kg, along with an impressive height of 1.93m, it is clear that the above parameters are nothing compared to Bakole.
Of course, in a boxing match, especially in the heavyweight division, weight and height are not the deciding factors. It is worth remembering that Oleksandr Usyk is dominating the heavyweight division with a “modest” body of 1.90m tall and weighing around 100kg.
Therefore, the difference in body size does not guarantee victory for Bakole and in fact, in his career, this boxer has not yet “collided” with a top-class boxer who has won 1/4 of the world’s major belts. Now, Joseph Parker, who is holding the interim WBO world belt, with a streak of 5 wins in the past 2 years, will probably be the most difficult challenge for Bakole ever.
